(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Peter Facinelli wishes the Twilight cast hadn't been "drenched on" while shooting the highly anticipated wedding scene.

The first promo for upcoming instalment The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 premiered at the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday. It included snippets of Bella Swan's wedding to Edward Cullen, where Kristen Stewart was seen in character wearing a wedding veil. Robert Pattinson, who plays Edward, had his wedding attire on, and the couple's friends were seen celebrating with them.

Peter has spoken about shooting the scenes, explaining it wasn't as fun as it looked. "It was beautiful - the setting was beautiful," he said. "I just wish we had a little bit more vampire clouds and we weren't getting drenched on."

Elizabeth Reaser, who portrays Peter's character Dr. Carlisle Cullen's wife Esme, was even less glowing about the experience. "It was brutal. It was freezing, it was raining, we were in corsets," she told MTV News.

She added to Access Hollywood: "Everybody was uncomfortable, but when we were rolling, it was the most beautiful moment. It's supposed to be a dream wedding. They spent months and months and months putting this thing together. It's everything you'd want when getting married."

Billy Burke is Bella's father Charlie Swan in the franchise and was keen to wet fans' appetites ahead of the release later this year. He revealed the wedding isn't all about fun and frolics as not everyone is that happy about it.

"I think it's pretty obvious that there's some discomfort in it, so I'll leave it at that," he commented.

Previous movie Eclipse, which was released last year, scooped five prizes at the MTV Movie Awards, which were held in Los Angeles. (C) Cover Media
