3rd May 2012

The role of Lord Yama was enacted in the past by many veteran actors, including Satyanarayana and Mohan Babu. The latest addition to the list is Prabhu, son of legendary Kollywood thespian actor Shivaji Ganesan.

Prabhu, who is a popular yesteryear actor and presently a sought after character artist, will essay the role of Lord Yama in 'Daruvu', a film directed by Siva, who also directed 'Siruthai', the Tamil version of 'Vikramarkudu'.

'Daruvu' is a socio-fantasy film and the role Prabhu is doing is of high importance. Everyone on the sets were awestruck by his performance,' sources close to the unit say.

Prabhu played the role of Trisha's brother in 'Something Something... Unakkum Enakkum', a remake of Tollywood hit 'Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana'. Telugu actor Sri Hari played the role in the original version.

Prabhu yet again bags another character role.
