January 28, 2011 (Sampurn Wire): Prince William and Kate Middleton has faced quite a few ups and downs in their relationship and now they are all set to walk down the aisle on April 29 and Lifetime is now just hurrying to bring out the movie on the life of this royal couple. A television network actually planned to do an original TV movie on the couples romance but now the production house wants to adapt it for the big screen.
The film will start with Kate and William meeting at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland and then it will pan out to the couples relationship over the past nine years amidst the scrutiny by the media, the Royal and family pressures and alleged break-up and make-up and rumors of other hook-ups. The production house wants to come out with the film sometime around the Royal wedding and showcase the fairly tale of the modern times.
So far it is known that the title role of Prince William will be essayed by the lesser-known actor Nico Evers-Swindell, who was seen as one of the troopers of the state in Mel Gibsons Edge of Darkness. Ben Cross from Star Trek will take on the challenge of becoming Price Charles and it is still not celar who will be casted as Kate Middleton.
However, A Cinderella Story director Mark Rosman will be taking charge of this yet untitled Royal family saga flick and Nancy Silvers has penned the screenplay of the film and plans to start rolling on Feb 10.
