Priyanka Chopra's success ladder seems to be growing high with each passing day. After being honoured with 'Padma Shri' award this year, she will be honoured with the most prestigious 'Dadasaheb Phalke' Best actress of the year award for her role in the film 'Bajirao Mastani'.
The happy actress tweeted, "So grateful.. The #DadasahebPhalkeAward is such an honour. #BajiraoMastani #blessed."
The Dadasaheb Phalke foundation will honour Priyanka with the award on April 24, 2016 which will be the 147th Jayanti of Dadasaheb Phalke. This is the second time the foundation is honouring the actress. Earlier Priyanka bagged the award for Most Memorable performance in 2011 for her film 'Saat Khoon Maaf'.
The actress is shooting for her international show 'Quantico' and will be in the country soon to receive the award. Not just Dadasaheb Phalke and Padma Shri award, this year she also became the first South Asian actor to win People's Choice Awards (Favourite actress) for her American TV show Quantico.
