And this was recently reiterated when the actress was invited by none other than Pranab Mukherjee, the President of India.
PC was invited for a special dinner event at the Rashtrapati Bhavan on the special request of the German President, owing to her huge popularity internationally and especially in Germany courtesy her reach through music and movies.
At the event, Priyanka interacted with dignitaries like the President of the Federal Republic of Germany - Joachim Gauck, Sonia Gandhi, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, veteran actress
Sharmila Tagore, entrepreneur Nandan Nilekani and other guests.
Talking about the experience, Priyanka said, "It was a huge honour to be invited and to be part of such august company. It was a great experience and very humbling."
