Priyanka Chopra is riding high on the super success of her recent films 'Agneepath' and 'Don 2' and it seems, she thought this was the right time to hike her remuneration fees.

Priyanka, who is currently shooting for 'Krrish 3' and gearing for the release of her upcoming film 'Teri Meri Kahaani' has been offered to play Jaya Bachchan's role in the remake of the original 'Zanjeer'. And we hear that the actress has demanded a hefty fee for her performance and is reportedly being paid a whopping Rs.9 crores. 

This makes her the highest paid actress. The last one was Kareena Kapoor who was said to be paid Rs.6 crore + profit share for Madhur Bhandarkar's film 'Heroine'.
