It won't be wrong to say that Desi girl Priyanka Chopra has reached the pinnacle of her career.
The actress will lend her voice to an educational docu-feature. And what's more interesting is she will lend her voice to an animated elephant, Ellie.
She tweeted, "Very excited about my new project w/ @peta to teach school kids that animals are #NotOurs2Use for entertainment! http://peta.vg/1nsi"
The actress said, "I'm going to be a walking, talking, mechanical elephant. Ellie and I are going to teach kids that elephants belong in the wild with their families, not in captivity, forced to learn tricks."
It also associated with PETA's new campaign. It's a series about an elephant Ellie, who is separated from mother and how she goes through all the ups and downs in her life till she is transferred to a sanctuary.
She further added that this whole campaign is to make kids understand how animals belong in the wild and educate them about animal abuse also.
"I have been informed that a seven-year-old wants to see me in my Ellie avatar and ask why circuses don't use robots instead of live animals."
Series will also be screened in Indian schools.
