October 28, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): When most filmmakers make fake promises of completing the film within a short span of time and later complete in a span of not less than 2 years, there are few auteur making their producers smile. In 2010, around 4 quickies were launched and just as proposed, the filmmakers were punctual enough to complete the projects on time.

Choreographer-actor turned filmmaker Prabhu Deva has finishing shooting 'Engeyum Kadhal' within a span of 50 days including song portions. Starring Jeyam Ravi and Hansika Motwani in lead roles, the film is produced by Kalpathy S Agoram of AGS Enterprises. Shot across various parts of the globe, the film is slated to hit the screens in November.

'Kanimozhi' is produced by actress Sona of Uniq Productions in collaboration with T. Siva of Amma Creations. Directed by newcomer Sripathy Rangasamy, Jai, Vijay Vasanth and debutant Shashan Padamsee have played lead roles. Just as insisted by producers, the films shooting was completed within 45 days. Though the film was supposed to hit screens during second week of September, the big tickets including 'Endhiran' have postponed it release.

Silambarasans multi-starrer film Vaanam is likely to be completed within next very days, which approximately counts up to 55 days of shooting schedule. Apart from Silambarasan, Bharath, Anushka, Prakash Raj, Sneha Ullal, Sonia Agarwal and Vega have performed lead roles. Yuvan Shankar Raja has scored music and producer Ganesh of VTV Productions has produced this film.

Diwali release 'Va Quarter' Cutting directed by Pushkar-Gayathri is also reported of being completed in a shorter period.
