The second joint production of B Sureha, Shylaja Nag and Prakash Raj 'Puttakkana High way?' is all set to hit the theatres on 20th of May 2011. The film is made onn a budget of Rs.1.10 crore. It is all about development and displacement in society. Sun Pictures has the television rights of this film.

Puttakka is a disenchanted woman. She loses her land, the only source for living to development of high way road. She runs from pillar to post for justice. The government does not care. Her silent protest does not pay any dividends.

This is based on the short story of ace director Nagathihalli Chandrasekhar, that was earlier titled 'Puttakkana Medical College'. The film has some excellent music compositions from Hamsalekha. HM Ramachandra is the cameraman.

Prakash Raj, four time national award winner plays the role of Shani Krishna. Achyuthkumar, Veena Sunder, Mandya Ramesh, Babu are also in the cast. B Suresha has directed this film besides producing the film with Media House Limited. Prakash Raj Duet Movies is the joint parnter to this film.

The joint effort two production houses 'Naanu Nanna Kanasu' was an average hit.
