The 'God of Cricket' Sachin Tendulkar turned a year older on April 24, 2017. The cricketer celebrated his 44th birthday yesterday and received a musical gift from the music maestro A R Rahman himself. The first song 'Hind Mere Jind' from the film 'Sachin: A Billion Dreams' is out.
The song shows a young Sachin playing cricket with his brother. With passion for cricket right from his childhood, Sachin's struggle to make it big in the sport is clearly shown in the song. It also shows his love for the country and some snippets from the matches he played as the youngest player to play in the Indian Cricket team.
While his professional life is full of surprises, his personal life is much more happier and stable. One of the frames shows a wedding photo of Sachin and his wife Anjali Tendulkar and also with his kids Arjun and Sara. He had mentioned in the trailer that going on the cricket pitch is like going to a temple for him and the song mostly captures him on the cricket pitch.
It is sung by the legendary singer A R Rahman himself and the lyrics are by Irshad Kamil. The film is helmed by James Erskine and is slated for a release on May 26, 2017.
