Charitable activites amongst celebrities is a wide subject one can talk on. They are always involved in many philanthropic activities making sure to help one in need.

We have another star added to the list and he is none other than the ace director S. S. Rajamouli. We have always heard of actors and actresses speaking about the great work they have done as charity, but very less follow their statements.

Rajamouli attended an event at the Gandhi medical college in Secunderabad a few days back and during the event, he made an annoncement stating he will donate his organs to those in need.

Here's what the director tweeted, thanking everyone as well as spreading the word, "Thanks to all medicos and professors. Had a gr8 time at Gandhi medical college. I pledged to donate my organs and anyone who wish to donate their organs or be a volunteer,visit http://www.mohanfoundation.org  i learnt organs from one body can give life to 8 people."

Besides the Tollywood director, celebrities such as Nagarjuna, Amala Akkineni, Lakshmi Manchu and many more have made an official announcement to donate their body organs in the past.

Earlier (read news), Rajamouli had donated 22 lakhs to Project 511, a non-profit organization that helps in improving the education imparted in government schools in Hyderabad.
