Though he is resting in Singapore, after undergoing treatment for a kidney ailment, Superstar Rajinikanth just can't keep himself idle. A few days ago, Rajini telephoned Shankar and had a lengthy discussion with him. Before that, he called Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalitha, DMK president M Karunanidhi and the director of his forthcoming film 'Rana' and conveyed to them that he is fit and fine.
Recently, Rajini caught his good friend Vairamuthu on the phone and spoke with him for a long time. 'I was very happy to hear the voice of the Superstar. It was brimming with energy and enthusiasm,' the 'Kaviperarasu' says. He adds: "Rajini expressed his desire to restart 'Rana' soon. I have asked him to take care of his health first because he is important to all of us. He sounded very confident and would like to return Chennai soon."
