Rajkumar Hirani asks full office staff to make short films

13th May 2014

Filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani organized a special task for his staff. He initiated a healthy competition between his working staff when he sponsored short films made by them as part of an office competition.

The director wanted to ignite that creative streak in the staff and encourage it by his support.

To achieve this, he came up with an original idea so that the staff could get a break from their usual work and be creatively productive at the same time. He announced and encouraged his staff to make a short film.

From the receptionist and office boy to accountants and assistants, everybody was asked to make a short film and participate in the competition. He personally handed over Rs. 7,000 and equipments to each participant.

It is said that the whole team learned a lot about filmmaking in this process.

Post the competition, he personally gave feedbacks to each one of them and reportedly, Raju loved the film made by the office peon.
