Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi's son Ram Charan Teja, has done the lead role in the super-hit film 'Magadheera'. This film is dubbed in Tamil with the title 'Maaveeran'. This film is to be released throughout Tamil Nadu by Udhayanidhi Stalin under the banner Red Giant.

Ram Charan Teja, while speaking to the media said," I know Rajni from my childhood days. We are like one family. I stayed in his house and grew up seeing Rajni and his films. After seeing 'Magadheera', Rajni Sir phoned and told me that he enjoyed my film, like a fan. He said that he whistled at a lot of places. It was a good film and I acted well were his words. Now, it is very challenging to retain this name. Many are asking me whether I will act in Tamil film. I am very eagerly waiting to act in a Tamil film. My father will be very happy if I act in a Tamil film but I should become familiar with the Tamil audience. So this will happen through the film 'Maaveeran'. I am acting in a film which is being made in Tamil and Telugu. This film which is being directed by Dharani will be released by end of this year. If this clicks, I will act in direct Tamil films."
