Rana Daggubatti is betting big time on his forthcoming Hindi film 'Department', directed by ace filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma. He is playing a police officer in the film, and says it will show yet another dimension of him to the audience.

'It is an edge of the seat cop story and exposes the good and bad in the police department. It also covers the police’s fight with dreaded gangsters,' says the young actor, who is known for films such as 'Leader' and 'Nenu Naa Rakshasi' in Tollywood.

According to him, working with RGV is a great learning experience. 'Each and every day I had learnt many new things. Since so many veterans were working with me, it was an enriching and enjoyable experience when we shot for 'Department'.

Recently, Rana denied that he was in an affair with Bipasaha Basu. 'I am in love with a Hyderabad based girl who hails from a non-filmy background. Bipasha Basu is my good friend. That's it,' he said.
