Looks like Rani Mukerji's cop avatar in 'Mardaani' has certainly left a positive impact on few civic authorities. The actress was recently invited to Yerawada Central Prison to launch a radio channel, Radio YCP meant for the prisoners entertainment.

Along with it, she also launched a food product, Maka manufactured by jail interns. One of the prisoners even gifted the actress a crochet jacket.

Rani said, "I would thank Meeran ( Borwankar) for inviting me to launch the brand Maka, which comprises a slew of products made by the prison inmates. It's a great initiative aimed at their vocational training and also to keep them in a positive frame of mind."
