It’s final, Rani Mukerji is finally doing the much talked about item number in ‘Housefull 2’ for which Karisma Kapoor was also considered. After Lolo saying a no to the item track, Rani has stepped into her shoes and will be seen grooving to a foot tapping number. Prior to this, she had done an item number in Aamir Khan’s ‘Mangal Pandey’ and it was quite appreciated.

Rani Mukerji’s dancing skills are not hidden as she was just mind blowing in numbers like ‘Punjab Ke Sher’ from her film ‘Dil Bole Hadippa’. The original film ‘Housefull’ too had an item number ‘Dhanno’ that garnered a lot of attention and appreciation for Jacqueline Fernandez.

Rani being a big star, the item song will be the icing on the cake and will add to the star power of the sequel, which already has an ensemble cast including Akshay Kumar, John Abraham, Asin, Zarine Khan, Jaqueline Fernandez, Ritesh Deshmukh, Mithundam Rishi and  Randhir Kapoor.
