Rani Mukerji's comeback film 'Hichki' is on its way to hit the screens and the actress is all set for the promotional activities for the same. Recently, the 39-year-old actress was all set to shoot for Rohit Shetty and Karan Johar's reality show, 'India's Next Superstar' on Monday.
However, due to some unfortunate circumstances, Rani cancelled the shoot and walked out. According to sources, the actress arrived on the sets on time and even got ready but then her manager came and told the makers of the show that she won't be able to shoot as she was suffering from a severe backache and fever. Moreover, her health issue was not the only reason for Rani to opt out but a sudden shift in the shoot timings was also the reason this happened.
A source close to the sets said, "Initially, Rani had given the time slot of 11am-2pm but it was changed to 3pm-7pm on Sunday. Everyone rescheduled their plans to accommodate her. She arrived on the sets as planned but was in her vanity van till about 4 pm. Karan went to check on her and they chatted for half an hour, after which Rani's manager informed the show's team that she wouldn't be able to shoot. The team is trying to reschedule her appearance since the celebrity guest spot now lays vacant for the episode."
Rani's comeback film Hichki's trailer is officially out and the film will hit the silver screen on Feb. 23, 2018.
