Reese Witherspoon is reportedly in stable condition.

The 36-year-old pregnant actress spent two nights at the hospital earlier this week after it appeared she might go into early labour.

Doctors released her from the hospital Thursday night and have advised her to take it easy.

"Reese is at home now on bed rest, doctor's orders. She's stable and is surrounded by her family," a source revealed to Radar Online.

This will be the third child for Reese, who has two children with former husband Ryan Phillippe. It will be her first with husband Jim Toth, who was a little more rattled about the hospital visits than his wife.

"But Jim was definitely a little more on edge than everyone else," the source confided. "It's his first child so he's elated and just wants to make sure everything turns out perfectly.

According to the source, Reese can deliver the baby "any day now."
