Release of 'Satellite Shankar' pushed ahead by 2 months

1st May 2019

Actor Sooraj Pancholi's Bollywood career immediately hit the rough patch post his debut 'Hero' in 2015. The actor was charged with abetment to suicide under section 306 of IPC in his girlfriend Jiah Khan's suicide case.

In Janaury 2019 Sooraj shared the first look of his next 'Satellite Shankar' and its release date which was July 5, 2019. However, now the makers have pushed the release ahead by 2 months for the reason best known to them.  The movie will hit the screens on 6th September, 2019.

Confirming the news, producer Bhushan Kumar tweeted, "Satellite Shankar, produced by @Tseries and @cine1studios, now releases on 6th September 2019!"

Movie critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, "Sooraj Pancholi starrer #SatelliteShankar gets a new release date: 6 Sept 2019... Costars Megha Akash... Directed by Irfan Kamal... Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Murad Khetani, Krishan Kumar and Ashwin Varde."

Going by the posters shared by the actor in the past hints towards a soldier discovering India as he discovers himself too. It is shot in 10 states of India.

It is directed by Irfan Kamal and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Murad Khetani and Ashwin Varde.
