'Kahaani' which released in the year 2012 intrigued us with its distinguished story line and absolutely perfect direction. At that very time we wanted a sequel to that film and after almost 4 years our wait is over. The sequel is finally here. Vidya Balan, who plays the lead in the film created much curiosity when she released the first poster showcasing herself in a de-glam avatar with a headline 'Wanted for Kidnapping and Murder.'

Now another poster from the film is released and again it is Vidya again on it. But this time she is not alone. Vidya is seen carrying a small girl in her arms with a pleasant smile on her face. Her simple, typical middleclass woman look is just perfect.

'Kahaani 2' also stars Arjun Rampal in a pivotal role and is directed by Sujoy Ghosh. The film will hit the theatres on December 2, 2016.
