'Lucknow Central' set to release on September 15, 2017 is a musical crime drama directed by Ranjit Tiwari. This film has a flavour of reality as it is based on a real-life incident an actual rock band that was formed in jail. The movie album has six songs, including a remix which is not there in the film.The music is composed by multiple composers. This time Farhan Akhtar has not crooned a single song from the movie. Teen Kabootar - Raftaar, Mohit Chauhan and Divya Kumar
Crooned by Mohit Chauhan, Divya Kumar adding on few rap verses by Raftaar with the composition of Arjunna Harjaie 'Teen Kabootar' is a standout song which has no other musical instrument other than an acoustic guitar. However, the remaining instruments are body percussions and sound created from day to day prison equipments like brooms, bins, pots, and pans etc are used to create the beats. The song switches on a mischievous mood as Farhan Akhtar seems to sing out the song bravely along with its prison mates right in front of the jailer (Ronit Roy) in the music video.
Rangdaari- Arijit Singh
'Rangdaari' is a romantic soundtrack performed by Arijit Singh which is a huge add on in the film. By far the most loved song of this musical drama film, Rangdaari's music video showcases how Kishan who is a prisoner joins the path of Gayatri Kashyap who is associated with an NGO in organizing the music event for the prisoners. The moments of their on-screen chemistry is highlighted in this soulful song. In the movement of performing with a music band and leading it to success, Farhan and Diana Penty's characters seem to fall in love. The music of this song is composed by Arjunna Harjaie and the beautiful lyrics are written by Kumaar.
