(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Rihanna has been mobbed by fans in Italy.

The Barbadian singer is currently taking time off from her hectic schedule to have a vacation. She has been partying with friends aboard a 200,000 yacht this week, and stopped off in Italy. The star disembarked in an area known as millionaires' playground in Portofino, where hordes of admirers were waiting.

"Portofino gets lots of celebrity visitors, but there aren't many singers as famous as she is," a fan is quoted as saying by British newspaper The Daily Mirror.

Hundreds of people rushed towards Rihanna as she made her way ashore. Many were clutching items they wanted autographed, while some desperately tried to take the star's photograph.

The 23-year-old was not fazed by all the activity. Wearing a stunning white jumpsuit with cutaway pieces and her brown hair piled on top of her head, she smiled and joked with the crowd.

At one point she was seen taking a photograph of a group of people and she also indulged in an ice cream.

Rihanna's holiday comes after her storming performances at the V music festival in the UK last weekend. She was reportedly paid 500,000 for each of the two shows she put on. (C) Cover Media
