(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Rob Lowe still enjoys romancing his wife of twenty years.

The former The West Wing star married make-up artist Sheryl Berkoff in 1991, and they have two sons together 17-year-old Matthew and John, 15. Rob has revealed the secret to a long-lasting marriage is to always make sure your partner doesn't feel taken for granted. He loves to plan surprises for Sheryl to ensure the sparks still fly in their relationship, while she likes to cook delicious meals for him.

"(She is) amazing," he told the British edition of OK! magazine. "Sheryl is a terrific cook my favourite dish has shrimps in. And she thinks I'm romantic. We're always exchanging cards and poems. It works for us. She has kept me happy and sane over the years."

The 47-year-old actor, who is currently promoting his memoirs Stories I Only Tell My Friends, has also revealed he likes to keep in shape.

Rob enjoys playing his favourite sports, but admits he isn't quite as skilled as he would like to be.

"(I play) both golf and full-court basketball," he revealed. "I still can't dunk the ball but life is all a matter of acceptance!" (C) Cover Media
