(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Robert Pattinson wishes his friends from the UK would visit him in America more often.

The 24-year-old London-born actor was catapulted to international stardom thanks to his role playing vampire Edward Cullen in the Twilight film franchise.

Robert is fast emerging as one of Hollywoods brightest stars and is currently appearing in romantic drama Water for Elephants alongside Reese Witherspoon.

Robert spends a large amount of time in New York and Los Angeles for work, although admits he would like his British pals to come and visit him more often.

When I was in LA, my friends came to stay, but only because they had stuff to do there, he confessed to more! magazine.

A lot of actors have a bunch of people who stay with them for two months. My friends egos are too big to do that!

The star also lamented how dull his day-to-day life can be. Robert works exceptionally hard on his acting career, and wishes he could find time for more fun.

I have an incredibly boring life. I work every single day and thats it. I dont have time for the craziness, so I rarely go in the front entrances of places, he added. (C) Cover Media
