(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Prince William and his new wife Catherine are expected to travel somewhere hot and sunny on their honeymoon today.
The couple, who are now known as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, wed at Westminster Abbey in London yesterday, and are due to embark on a traditional post-marriage holiday today.
The destination of the trip is a closely guarded secret, although royal sources are reported as saying the pair hope to relax somewhere hot and sunny in British newspaper The Daily Telegraph.
Prince William has taken two-weeks holiday from his role as an RAF Search and Rescue pilot, and countries believed to be in the line-up include Jordan, where the couple could soak up the historical sites of the Middle-Eastern destination. Other possibilities include the Seychelles, or Kenya, where Prince William proposed.
Meanwhile, attendees at last nights more intimate wedding reception hosted at Buckingham Palace by Prince Charles said they had a great evening. Prince Williams younger brother Prince Harry reportedly made a light-hearted speech due to his role as best man, which the 300 guests are said to have found highly amusing.
It is thought that many of the older guests left the soiree before midnight, with the youngsters staying much later. Prince Harry was spotted leaving the bash with a group of revellers at around 3am.
British singer Ellie Goulding, known for her cover version of Sir Elton Johns classic Your Song was among performers at the party. Soul songstress Joss Stone was also in attendance.
Although there was a formal meal catered for by acclaimed chef Anton Mosimann, there were also reportedly bacon and sausage sandwiches available for later in the night at the request of Prince Harry.
Catherine had received high praise for her evening attire, as she was seen arriving at the party in a second frock also designed by designer of her wedding gown Sarah Burton. The newlywed looked beautiful in a white satin dress with diamante embroidering and an angora cardigan. Prince William also looked dashing, swapping his military uniform for a black tuxedo.
