(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Russell Armstrong has been laid to rest in Los Angeles.

The 47-year-old Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star was found dead at his friend's home in Los Angeles last Monday after committing suicide.

The first funeral was held for the late star on Wednesday night at the Church of the Hills-Forest Lawn in the Hollywood Hills.

Russell's estranged wife Taylor and his close friends were all present at the service. He will also be remembered at a second funeral in Texas, which has reportedly been scheduled for the first week of September.

Russell's co-stars including Lisa Vanderpump, Kyle Richards and Adrienne Maloof all attended the service, along with Peggy Tanous of the Real Housewives of Orange County.

Russell's attorney, Ronald Richards, has revealed that his ashes will be split between Taylor, who filed for divorce from the reality star last month, and his family in Texas.

"Taylor has indicated to Russell's nephew that Russell's family can take most of the remains back to Texas," he told People.

"They have a family cemetery there."

Russell has left behind three children his five year-old daughter Kennedy with Taylor, son Aiden, 13, from marriage to ex-wife Barbara Frederickson and Griffin, 11, from his relationship with ex- fiance Milette Fields. (C) Cover Media
