The loved-up couple are reportedly going "all out" to turn their 1.5million New York property into a "country chic" haven. According to sources, the pair have hired a plethora of workmen to renovate several rooms of the house.

"Their neighbours are saying the love birds hired professionals to come in and re-do the kitchen and bathrooms while hard-working painters are outside giving the house a fresh coat," celebrity blogger Perez Hilton writes.

Ryan and Blake are also said to have been shopping up a storm for home accessories.

According to an insider the former co-stars have been picking out original pieces to give their home a personal touch.

"She has been on the hunt for one-of-a-kind pieces. She wants everything to be unique. It's kind of cute how he goes on all these shopping trips with her," the source told Perez Hilton.

Ryan and Blake have enjoyed something of a whirlwind romance after they started dating last year, with rumours of an engagement swirling around. (C) Cover Media
