(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively are said to be ready to start a family.

The Hollywood stars have been dating for about a year now and share a home together just outside of New York.

Star magazine claims that the Gossip Girl actress has told friends she gained 10lbs recently in a bid to have a baby.

"She and Ryan are ready to go for it, even without a wedding," an insider told the publication.

"Ryan has been aching to start a family, so this is his dream come true."

The insider added that there had been speculation Ryan's marriage to Scarlett Johansson faltered because of their difference in opinion on when to have a child.

"They told friends they want lots of children and are ready to get started," the insider added about the Green Lantern co-stars.

"She's even given up alcohol already. Everyone sees a wedding and kids in their near future. Blake wants to be a mom by next year." (C) Cover Media
