The hunky actor's marriage to Scarlett Johansson ended last year. He's since been romantically linked to Charlize Theron and Sandra Bullock, but is thought to be single at the moment.

Ryan was recently seen enjoying a night out with a pal at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles. A stunning brunette caught the actor's eye, and was seen smiling back at him.

"Instead of moving in, Ryan finally left with his pal never said a word," a source told National Enquirer. "But ten minutes later he suddenly reappeared with the pal, who introduced himself to the girl then introduced Ryan."

Ryan simply mumbled a greeting, then let his pal take over. The unknown man duly handed the actor's phone number to the woman, much to her amazement.

She told Ryan she was amazed he was so shy, prompting him to finally talk. "I hope you'll call," he said, before leaving. (C) Cover Media
