Ryan Reynolds: Tattoos aren't bumper stickers

8th June 2012

(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Ryan Reynolds hates people who treat tattoos like "bumper stickers".

The Hollywood heartthrob admits that one of his biggest regrets was getting a tattoo when he was in his twenties. Ryan has been jealous of other people's body art, but also thinks some individuals go too far.

"My tattoo is of a cannon in Vancouver that I got in a fleeting moment of stupidity maybe 14 years ago," he told Details magazine. "A lot of people have really beautiful tattoos, and I get real tattoo envy. But then other people basically just treat them like bumper stickers for their bodies."

The 35-year-old actor also revealed that he has become happier with his appearance with age. Ryan finds it too embarrassing to look back at old photographs from his younger years.

"I recently saw a picture from when I was just a pup - maybe 20 or 21 years old. And I look pretty bad. I've got some weird facial hair, and my hair is glopped with about six pounds of gel," he laughed. "So I really don't shy away from ageing at all. I love getting older."

Ryan who is dating actress Blake Lively went on to discuss his passion for motorbikes.

The star insists he has never been interested in experimenting with drugs, revealing that two-wheeled vehicles really get his pulse racing.

"It's never been substances. It's motorcycles," he added. "They're like motorised crack for me. I have an old BMW, a Triumph, a Ducatiall old rust buckets." (C) Cover Media
