(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Sandra Bullock was "very keen" to return to work following her highly-publicised divorce.

The 47-year-old star's marriage to Jesse James broke down last year, when several women claimed to have had affairs with him. After dealing with the personal heartbreak, Sandra was happy to focus her attention on shooting Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close last autumn. The movie's director Stephen Daldry says he was inspired by the Oscar-winning actress' work ethic and enthusiasm.

"She was very keen to get back to work," Stephen told People. "She threw herself in with her usual enthusiasm and energy, and she was very relaxed."

After her marriage split, Sandra continued with her plan to adopt a baby boy on her own. She is now raising 19-month-old Louis and Stephen has revealed the star loved taking him to work with her.

"She had little Louis with her, and it was a very familial environment on-set," he added.

Sandra has kept a relatively low-profile since her marriage ended, concentrating on getting her life back on track. Her Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close co-star Reagan Leonard insists the beauty is feeling stronger and happier than ever. "She's glowing," she shared.

Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close also stars Tom Hanks, John Goodman and Viola Davis. It will be released worldwide in early 2012. (C) Cover Media
