One of the most controversial actress' of Bollywood, Sangeeta Bijlani had left the industry 17 years ago. She was smitten by former Indian skipper Mohammed Azharuddin and had opted for her marriage over films. But the two divorced a couple of years back and now the actress is all set for her comeback.

Sangeeta recently confirmed that she will be making a comeback with filmmaker Onir's magnum opus film 'Shab'. She confessed that after such a long break from films, she wasn't keen on making a comeback.

Though she has had offers in the past too, Sangeeta never took the plunge. But she says that Onir's script made her change her mind.

Sangeeta met Onir at a fashion week where he narrated the story to her in brief and though she was initially skeptical, she eventually gave her nod after reading the script.

The actress states that the film looks great and worth the risk. When asked whether her former boyfriend Salman Khan who is now her close friend has been updated about this news, she says that she is certain that he will be happy for her.
