Child actress turned main stream darling Sanusha Santhosh, will be paired with Golden Star Ganesh in the film 'Shyloo', to be directed by S Narayan. Earlier, Amala Paul's name was previously heard and the original director of the Tamil film 'Myna', Solomon, was supposed to weild the megaphone for the Kannada version. The heroine and director have now been changed by producer K Manju.

Sanusha Santhosh is a Malayalam and Tamil film child actress turned heroine, who gave an impressive performance in the Tamil film 'Renigunta', in which she played a dumb girl's role. Sanusha started her film career as a child artist in 2000 with the Malayalam movie 'Dada Saheb'. Some of her memorable films as a child artists include 'Kasi' in Tamil and 'Meesa Madhavan' in Malayalam. She has won the best child artist award for her performance in the Blessy directed, Mammotty starrer 'Kazcha' and also another Malayalam film 'Sowmyam'. 'Shyloo' is the remake of the Tamil hit 'Mynaa' directed by Prabhu Soloman.
