(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Sarah Jessica Parker says motherhood is a "daily puzzle".
The actress raises three children with her husband Matthew Broderick. She admits it is a struggle to balance her career and family life and is in awe of other working mothers.
"It is, it is a daily puzzle," she replied in an interview with British TV show Lorraine when asked if motherhood is difficult. "And I know that there are women that are working not because they want to but because they have to and sometimes more than one job. I am far more in awe of how they manage to do it all than myself because I have the liberty to pick and choose when I work. I also have the support that a lot of other mothers don't have."
Parker also spoke about raising her two-year-old twin daughters, Marion and Tabitha. The 46-year-old star revealed the girls are reluctant to be parted from her and love to be held all the time. Parker says carrying the growing girls is the perfect way to stay in shape.
"My daughters insist on being carried at the exact same time, I know there are a lot of mothers out there who have young children who are very close in age. My daughters, in all sincerity, they want to be held at the same time all the time. If I am holding one, then Tabitha will say, Put her down, put her down,'" Parker explained. "But they are 25lbs each now, and I am walking up and down the stairs all day with them because I have forgotten something. My daughters are two now and they aren't particularly interested in being anywhere else than on my body at some point.
"Plus, we live in a city, so we walk a lot."
Parker can next be seen in comedy I Don't Know How She Does It. The star plays an executive who is the main breadwinner for her husband and two kids. (C) Cover Media
