​Selvaraghavan and his wife Geethanjali were blessed with a baby girl on 20th January, at  a private hospital in Chennai.

Both the mother and the baby are said to be in good health.

When contacted, an excited Selva did confirm the news with the media, "Yes my wife delivered a girl baby a few minutes back around 5. 30 pm. We have not yet named our baby. I am at the hospital with her, so cannot talk in detail".

Selva who had taken a break from the shoot of his new film "Eramdam Ulagam" was by the side of his wife. A few days back, the family of the couple got together for a grand baby shower at Geethanjali’s home which was attended by close friends and relatives.
