Selvaraghavan initially gave super hits in the company of Yuvan Shankar Raja. Songs in Kadhal Konden, 7G Rainbow Colony and Pudupettai became sensational chartbusters. 

After that, the director joined hands with young G V Prakash Kumar in Aayirathil Oruvan and the recently released Mayakkam Enna, which had Dhanush in the lead role.

And for his forthcoming film Erandam Ulagam, Selva is working with Harris Jayaraj for the first time. The director is happy about joining forces with the music composer and is satisfied with his work.

Expressing this on his microblogging page, Selva posted on his micro-blogging page: 'Recorded a fabulous song with Harris sung by Karthik. And with Kaviperarasu Vairamuthu`s lyrics. Superb composition and wonderful singing! Bloody romantic!'
