Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani who are paired for south super hit Arjun Reddy remake, have filmed a sizzling song recently. Re-creating the superhit Prabhudheva song from the 90's titled 'Urvashi' from 1994 Tamil film 'Kadhalan'. The original song was performed by the Academy award winner A.R.Rahman while who could have imagined that the recreated version would be sung by Yo Yo Honey Singh who has few rap verses that suits the music video quite well.
The music video begins with Kiara entering the club to party in a swanky car whereas, Shahid is the conman making a stylish entry from a container that is been bought down from the helicopter. It's not clear if the Hindi Arjun Reddy will actually feature the new Urvashi song or if it's simply promotional material. The film will reportedly be directed by Sandeep Vanga (who helmed the original version) while it will collaboratively be produced by Bhushan Kumar, Murad Khetani, Krishan Kumar and Ashwin Varde.
In an interview with a leading daily, Shahid Kapoor, who plays the titular role, spoke about how he is prepping for the film and, said, "At the moment, I am growing a beard. We were considering to start shooting this month but the director wants my beard to grow more."
