It is a Bollywood remake of Telugu blockbuster 'Arjun Reddy' which is titled, 'Kabir Singh'. Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani are busy shooting for the film in Delhi. Taking a look at Shahid's avatar he is donning a sharp look which almost clean shaved with the lightest pair stubble showcasing his jaw-line.

Sharing this pictue via his Instagram handle Shahid wrote, "On set #kabirsingh." Kabir Singh is helmed by Sandeep Vanga who was also the director of the Telugu version. Kiara plays the female lead. T-Series and Cine1 Studios are bankrolling the project.

Arjun Reddy featured Vijay Deverakonda and it achieved box-office success as well along with critical acclaim being made with a budget of 5 cr it raked 51 cr lifetime business. 

Speaking about the film, Vanga who directed the original Arjun Reddy said in a statement "When we started work on the Hindi script, it was a very exciting journey. 'Kabir Singh', as the protagonist's name, came naturally, considering the character's graph. Kabir Singh has the same punch and madness of Arjun Reddy."

The film will be shot extensively in Mumbai, Delhi and Musoorie. Shahid will sport four different looks in the movie and has been preparing for it over the last three months. The film will hit the theatres on 21 June, 2019.
