(Cover) - EN Movies - Shia LaBeouf will team up with Robert Redford in terrorist thriller The Company You Keep.

Based on the novel of the same name by Neil Gordon, the film will follow the tale of a young crusading journalist who uncovers the fake identity of a notorious domestic terrorist who has been hiding from the authorities for over thirty years. When his fake identity is discovered, the terrorist, who will be played by Robert, goes on the run. Shia will play the journalist.

Robert will also be directing the movie, with Voltage Pictures financing the picture.

"This is an edge-of-your-seat thriller about real Americans who stood for their beliefs, thinking they were patriots and defending their country's ideals against their government," said Voltage producer Nicolas Chartier. "It is absolutely amazing to have Shia LaBeouf, arguably the brightest young star in Hollywood today paired with the global icon Robert Redford."

The rising star is backing up his previous pledge to combine Hollywood blockbusters like the Transformers franchise and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull with more serious fare. He also just finished work on the crime drama The Wettest County in the World. (C) Cover Media
