Shruti to romance John in welcome back

After multiple speculations on who will be John Abraham's leading lady in the film 'Welcome Back', we hear that Shruti Haasan has been roped in to play the part.

The film is a sequel to Anees Bazmee's 'Welcome' that starred Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif and now while John has replaced good friend Akki, Shruti will replace Kat.

There were strong reports of Sonakshi Sinha and Asin to be signed but Sonakshi's busy schedule and Asin's dad's interference led to Shruti's inclusion in the film.

Shruti saw two Bollywood films released this year, one being Prabhu Deva's 'Ramaiya Vastavaiya' and the 2nd one being Nikhil Advani's 'D-Day'. In both these films, her versatility and talent was much appreciated. We also hear that she will be seen with Akshay Kumar in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's next.

So after a bad start in the Hindi Film Industry, seems like Shruti’s career is finally taking off.
