Renowned filmmaker Siddharth Anand is on cloud nine these days. The director is all set to bring his ambitious film 'Bang Bang' before the audience as he is really happy with the way the film has shaped up. 

The film, as it is a know fact, went through a lot of ups and downs. It has been in news for more than 3 years and has been in the making for over a year. 

"I spent three years writing this film. The kind of action you will see in this film has never been tried before in the industry. The film is a blend of action and romance in the truest sense," said Siddharth. 

The film which is an official remake of the Hollywood hit flick 'Knight and Day' starring Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz, sees Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif stepping in as the lead stars for the remake. 

Though it was not an easy journey for them, Siddharth is glad that they both showed utter professionalism and passion towards their commitment to the film. 

On the eve of film's teaser launch, Siddharth confessed that he is heavily impressed with both Katrina and Hrithik. "I am really happy with the way Hrithik and Katrina have infused life into their characters," he said. 

During the shooting of the action film, the two lead stars injured themselves a couple of times and also had to work doubly hard as it was shot on multiple long schedules. But despite of everything, the duo completed the film which has left Siddharth high on happiness. 

"Both of them are thorough professionals. Hrithik amazed me and the crew with his sheer hard work and dedication. And as for Katrina I had a lovely time working with her. She is talented, determined, passionate and hard working," he stated. 

The two were supposed to work together in the past but somehow things didn't work out in their favour. 

However, Siddharth states that he is happy that they finally got a chance to work together in 'Bang Bang'.
