Just recently it was reported that Imran Khan and Farhan Akhtar will play brothers in director Shakun Batra's next directorial venture that will be produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions. But it turned out to be a false report as Imran was honest enough to confess that he was never approached for the mentioned film.
Nonetheless, according to the latest grapevine, the film has been offered to Sidharth Malhotra.
After having two hits (Student Of The Year and Hasee Toh Phasee) under his belt, Sidharth is riding high citing the positive reviews his upcoming film 'Ek Villain's promos have got.
Apparently, Shakun finds Sidharth to be the perfect fit for the script. He has reportedly already presented the script to Sidharth who has given his consent for the same.
Though Shakun refused to reveal details, he did confirm that the script has been locked and the cast is being signed.
Meanwhile, Sidharth is running on a tight schedule. While he is still wrapping up 'Ek Villain', he will soon begin shooting for Vikramaditya Motwane's next.
