December 14, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Its time to bid goodbye for Brandon Mychal Smith as he will quit Skating with the Stars due to a sudden illness. Brandon Mychal Smith could not be present at the last weeks show as he had to be hospitalized after he fell ill on the sets. A source confirms the news that Brandon will finally bid adieu to Skating with the Stars as the doctor has advised Brandon against skating .Brandon was detected with a virus in his stomach and the doctor wants him to take some rest. Though Brandon is looking forward to participate however he decided to pull himself out of the show as he does not want to leave any impact on the show due to his illness.

Brandon will make an appearance on todays show to bid goodbye to his fans, well-wishers and fellow contestants on the show.

Tension is gradually building up on the sets of Skating with the Stars, as Brandon is all set to make an exit from the show. Brandon was sad for not being able to stand up when the announcements were being made .Brandon also loses out on a chance to be on a great show like Skating with the Stars. Brandons partner Keauna McLaughlin added that though they took a break for three days, still Brandon could not make it as he felt dizzy .Brandon looked frail so McLaughlin had to accept the fact that Brandon could not make it anymore.
