Snooki is reportedly engaged to Jionni LaValle amid rumours the two are expecting their first child together.

The 24-year-old Jersey Shore star and her boyfriend of a year-and-a-half are allegedly preparing to tie the knot as they welcome a baby later this year, a source told People magazine.

Snooki has made no secret of her desire to marry Jionni and hinted earlier this year that her boyfriend would propose.

"I know he's the one so I know the ring's gonna come soon," she said recently. "Well, not soon-soon. He knows it should be big, cuz if it's small I'm saying no. Like, 'Get another ring!'"

While she has also expressed her hopes for a family with her boyfriend she has denied reports she is pregnant in several TV interviews including Good Morning America.

However, numerous sources are reporting the star is around three-months along into her pregnancy.

The engagement news comes amid reports Snooki is preparing to film TV scenes in a baby store. According to TMZ, the production crew behind Jersey Shore have contacted Jersey City shop Bambi Baby to gage whether they can shoot scenes for the reality TV starlet's spin-off show in the venue.

The television personality is currently filming Snooki and Jwoww vs. the World for MTV, but her alleged pregnancy is said to have created a nightmare situation for producers.

Snooki's representative and MTV have declined to comment on the pregnancy and engagement claims.
