(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Snooki is expecting a boy.

The reality TV star is five months pregnant with her and her fianc Jionni LaValle's first baby. She has now revealed the sex, admitting she was initially disappointed when she heard the news.

"Everyone said I was going to have a boy, and they were right!" she told In Touch.

"I thought it was going to be a girl. I was hoping it would be, because all girls want girls. It's still my baby, no matter what. I'm excited either way!"

The couple are yet to decide on a name for the new arrival, although they have narrowed it down to either Lorenzo or Jionni Jr.

Snooki has experienced some cravings, switching her love of pickles for an obsession with "cold and juicy" treats such as ice lollies.

It's not the only issue the 24-year-old has come up against during her pregnancy.

"Our sex life is hardly there! I just feel too icky and gross," she said. "I'm so not in the mood to do stuff."

The star added her wild days are now behind her. As part of the Jersey Shore cast, Snooki is known for getting drunk and partying. She has vowed to be more responsible now her life has changed.

"I'm not going to party hard anymore, even after the baby is born. Being a mom changes you," she said.

Hollywood star Megan Fox is also rumoured to be pregnant at the moment although she hasn't confirmed it.

Star magazine now reports she is expecting a girl, adding the new arrival will make an appearance in late September or early October. (C) Cover Media
