(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Sofia Coppola is planning an intimate family affair for her wedding to her rocker boyfriend this summer.

The 40-year-old director will marry her long-time boyfriend Thomas Mars in August. The wedding will take place at Sofia's family villa in Southern Italy.

"Yes, they are getting married and having an intimate family wedding," Sofia's representative told People.

Sofia, who is the daughter of Godfather director Francis Ford Coppola, will exchange vows at Palazzo Margherita, her family's 19th century Italian villa in Bernalda.

Her dad is currently rebuilding and renovating the property in Southern Italy. Her family originally came from the region.

Hollywood names including Steven Spielberg, Al Pacino, Sylvester Stallone and Nicholas Cage are expected to attend the wedding.

Sofia and Thomas, who is in the band Phoenix, have two children together: four-year-old daughter Romy and son Cosima, who is 23-months-old. The pair live in Paris with their children.

This will be Sofia's second marriage. She was married to Being John Malkovich director Spike Jonze, but the pair divorced in 2003. (C) Cover Media
