The melody number 'Idhayam', sung by Shwetha Pundit and composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, has been deleted from 'Billa 2', since the makers felt that the song created lag in the proceedings.

However, the song has been removed only from the screening in Indian theatres; the international theatres will still screen the film with the song. 

The original runtime of the film that was two hours and eight minutes has now gone down even more. The movie now runs for 123 minutes, making it crispier. 

In spite of the mixed reviews from the critiques and the fans, Billa 2 made a stunning 19 crore on its release weekend in Tamil Nadu alone.
