Sowcar Janaki needs no introduction. 

The yesteryear star known for her impeccable performance as an actress and character artiste is set to make a comeback after 15 years. 

Janaki will be seen playing a pivotal role in Raja Mohan’s 'Vanavarayan Vallavarayan'. Krishna, who appeared in the blockbuster hit 'Kazhugu', has been roped in for the lead role. 

"I am happy to be part of Vanavarayan Vallavarayan. It is a nice experience to act in a film after 15 years. I will continue to act in cinema as long as God allows me to do so," says Sowcar Janaki. 

The actress has appeared in more then 385 films in her career and performed in over 300 stage shows. Janaki is truly a living legend!
