Legendary singer S P Balasubramaniam has dubbed for top Tollywood hero Balakrishna. No, not for any Telugu movie, but for the Tamil version of Sri Ramarajyam, which is set to hit the screens in Tamil Nadu soon.
Since the producers of the Tamil version, Future Films, felt that SPB's voice would fit well to Balakrishna's role of Lord Rama in this film, they approached the ace singer for the task.
'SPB gave his nod considering the spiritual importance the film holds. He has done a very good job. Besides dubbing for Balakrishna, he has also crooned the Tamil version of songs,' sources say.
Directed by Bapu, Sri Rama Rajyam has music by Ilayaraja. Nayanthara has played the role of Goddess Seetha and singer Chinmayi has dubbed for her in the Tamil version.
